The Rume is the creative concept of British expat
Elise Kerr, a Dubai resident since 2016.

Obsessed with design and beautiful homes ever since childhood, growing up in the free-spirited city of Brighton to young at heart parents who loved to socialise, she came into contact with people from all walks of life and was fascinated by their individuality, style and character.

This awakened her creative spirit, which she has nurtured throughout her journalism studies and career in boutique agencies, hotels and now as a lifestyle magazine editor in Dubai, continuously honing her writing, designing and photography skills.

The Rume is a testament to Elise’s vision that your home is your sanctuary, and everyone deserves to make theirs more personal through unique, considered design and original products.
